Taiwan's fire-door standard CNS 11227 (建築用防火門檢驗標準) defines Class A (甲種) fire doors as requiring at least 60 minutes (1 hour) fire resistance and Class B (乙種) fire doors as requiring at least 30 minutes fire resistance.
Singapore's CORENET X digital permitting platform became mandatory from 1 October 2025 for all new building projects with gross floor area (GFA) of 30,000 square meters or more, with full extension to all project sizes required by 1 October 2026.
Per 2024 IBC, Group A-2 assembly occupancies trigger a mandatory automatic sprinkler system at 5,000 sf, while Group A-1 occupancies trigger the sprinkler requirement at 12,000 sf, and Group B has no occupancy-based sprinkler area threshold.
Per 2024 IBC Table 601, structural frame fire-resistance rating requirements are 3 hours for Type I-A construction and 2 hours for Type I-B construction, with the table unchanged across the 2018, 2021, and 2024 editions.
Taiwan's building-material fire-resistance test-method standard CNS 12514 defines fire-resistance duration ratings (防火時效) of 0.5, 1, 2, and 3 hours, measured on integrity, structural stability, and insulation (with unexposed-side temperature rise capped at 260°C above ambient).
Per 2024 IBC Table 601, Types II-B, III-B, and V-B construction require zero hours of fire-resistance rating for the structural frame, meaning no spray-applied fireproofing material is required.
Per the 2010 ADA Standards Section 405.2, the maximum running slope of an accessible ramp in new construction is 1:12 (8.33%), with cross slope limited to 1:48 per Section 405.3.
Under Singapore's CORENET X joint agency review process, large or composite building plan submissions may take up to 20 working days for approval, versus sequential single-agency review previously.
